As you are aware, the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted businesses all over the world. The impact on Purifas® has been on the manufacturing of the Purifas® FaceShield™ which has led to a necessary and temporary price increase of this product to AUD $39.60 (inc GST) per box of 100.
The FaceShield™ is made from a similar material as surgical masks, and the demand for masks worldwide has resulted in a surge in need for this material. With that, has come a price increase in materials from our global suppliers. The challenge hasn’t ended at commodity prices. There have been significant currency fluctuations and a surge in manufacturing demand that has also driven up prices.
This increase is temporary, and required to ensure we can sustainably continue to develop and deliver our premium and essential therapy bed hygiene barrier to therapists across Australia and New Zealand.
The new pricing will come into effect 12am, Wednesday the 15th of May.
Discounts of 5% will still be applied on orders over 8 boxes, and shipping will also remain free across Australia on orders over AUD $250.
Purifas® will continue to provide free support to all clinics and therapists worldwide, through the provision of free marketing and hygiene education tools. These are available through our website to account holders. These tools include social media content, in-clinic digital slides and flyers. All Purifas® FaceShield™ users can also list their business in our FaceShield™ Clinic Search tool. These tools will help you proactively communicate your commitment to hygiene to new and existing customers.
We will continue to provide you with timely updates on pricing as soon as they are available. Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
